DESCRIPTION:Jr. Texas Water Safari (shorter version of the Texas Water Safari except age requirement is lowered to 15)\nThe race begins at San Marcos City Park and finishes at Staples Hwy 1977 bridge – 16 miles on the beautiful San Marcos River. Entry fee $35 per paddler (race day registration only). Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. at San Marcos City Park. Race briefing starts at 8:15am. Race starts at 9am.\nThe cut-off for reaching Hwy 1979 Martindale Bridge is 12 noon.\nFood and drinks will be provided at the finish. There will be cash drawings at the awards; you must be present to win.
